At the end of March, Gucci announced a strategic partnership with Yuga Labs. As a result of this agreement, on April 3, Yuga Labs studio introduced a new project called “Otherside: Relics by Gucci”. It includes several collections of jewelry from the famous couture house, every piece of which will be stylized as elements of the Otherside Metaverse.

The KodaPendant collection will be the first one in this project. It will consist of pendants in the form of relics of the alien race Koda from Otherside. On each pendant there is an engraving with the abbreviation “GG” that stands for “good game”. According to Yuga Labs, these pendants are unique. The pendant even should unlock "new cosmetic options" for avatars in Otherside.

The start of sales is scheduled for Thursday, April 6. The collection includes 3333 pieces of jewelry, each comes with a themed NFT. Charms are available exclusively to Koda and Vessel token holders. It’s possible to pay for the purchase only in ApeCoin (APE). The pendant will cost 450 APE (around $1900). Buyer will get his NFT token straight away, but receiving the charm itself will take some time.

Gucci promises to send pendants to the owners before the end of the year. At the same time, shipment is possible only to the USA, Canada, most of Europe, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

What will be the other "relics" from Gucci is still unknown. This is not the first time that a major company has released jewelry based on a Web 3 project. Last year, Tiffany made a collection of pendants for CryptoPunk holders. It was successfully sold out on the first day.
